Our thermostat died, as we left a brisket to cook as we and friends, went to town, expecting to come back to a succulent lump of cow. Instead, we came home to a small chunk of carbonaceous critter, cooked to a crisp. I still have the stainless steel pan, but it literally sat outside, soaking, scrubbing, soaking, scrubbing, rinse, repeat,, took a coupla weeks, but I saved it.
I Should've kept the brisket. There's no way it would have spoiled. If it had been in a higher pressure environment, it would have been a diamond.

The original point of my post that started this thread was the stupidity of Trump protesters who somehow think he's a threat to them when they have a real threat all around them they ignore. In fact they do worse than ignored, they encourage it. In the mist of all this pretzel stuff both Hillary and Bernie reaffirm they're going to open doors and bring more immigrants in from troubled countries in Europe. WTF!  Honestly, how effing stupid do you have to be to take a position like that?
