Could he do more?

Obama is getting heat from all comers regarding his leadership against terrorism.
Personally, I think sometimes you have to fight fire with fire, or an eye for an eye.
I believe in his heart he wants to try and avoid all deaths, and wishes for peace through dialogue and tolerance, which has been his hallmark with Cuba, Iran, etc.
But when do we take off the gloves and fight offensively before they kill?

Wouldn't the refugee problem with Muslims be eliminated if we struck the elements that are driving these folks out of their homeland?

What should he do?

Is the threshold another 911 on our soil before we really go after these animals?

Go back down to Cuba and smoke cigars with his buddy Raul until Jan 20 of next year. After that, who cares ?

Did you see he gave himself a 20% raise to his pension?  I suppose it is really more of an annuity though.   Lips Sealed

About as constructive as Obama's strategy vs. ISIS or terrorism overall. He could do a lot more. But he wont. And what he is doing is worse than nothing IMO. Which was the point of my post.

This may be graphic so feel free to skip this post.

I have a birdhouse on my porch. I like birds. Over the last two or three years there seems to be a turf war going on. I'd have fledglings tossed out of the nest, eggs broken, a lot of dispute over this bird house.

Last week I heard an upset, almost frantic chirping when I arrived home.
I saw a bird in the entry way to the bird house - wings spread, but it wasn't moving.
There was a bird trapped inside, also.
I got some gloves on and opened the trap door to the bird feeder to release the captive bird. The captive bird, which appeared to be a pregnant female, flew out.
The bird stuck in the opening had been dead a while. It's face was mutilated. Eyes gouged out, beak broken. It was only upon removal that I noticed the wings were broken in the entry hole.

My best assumption is that the foreign, or at least unwanted, invader attempted to move on a cornered mother.

This happens in nature. Sometimes I feel we should shelve the PC crap and react accordingly.

The law of the jungle is: there is no law.

So you're saying:

*Carpet bomb ISIS areas and accept collateral damage.
*Secure borders, no refugees.
*Closely monitor, listen in on phone, email conversations of any Muslim remotely suspected of terrorist sympathies.
*Treat these suspects as potential POW's and lessen the constitutional rights of any US citizen falling under this category

She's cornered if she doesn't win.
No problem,,, the FBI won't be able to get the indictment from DOJ.
Let's see how many retire and how many are promoted.
