So why is an Act of God a legal theory allowed without claiming it is against the belief and seperation of church and state.... How come God is allowed to absolve responsibility of legal liability?

Because IF it was called an act of the Devil the plaintiff could punch the insurance company's lawyer in the face and claim
The Devil Made me do it.

And what about the Atheists house?
Couldn't the Atheist Demand that the insurance company
Prove the existence of this alleged God who caused the problem?

And, the only atheist I ever knew was always polite, and I woulda signed every check in the checkbook, tossed it on his table and left town. He never said a word our censor would change. I'm, AFAIK, well, was, his only friend outside of family.
We met in a doctor's office, He ended it a coupla years ago.

People ask me how I could have faith in what I can't see.
