399cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valve engine which weighs 384 pounds and a 30.9-inch seat height;
ADDED BONUS - there’s no push-button starter. The SR400 is equipped with a kick starter as the only means of getting the engine running.

IMO, nice solid simple and dependable bike. They go ok but no rocket by modern standards. The cabbage has more stomp. Both have the correct number of cylinders.

Reply #7 - 04/03/16 at 08:14:54 Kick start only is not a bonus, it's a detraction back in the day when electric legs were unreliable, I was 'all kick all the time' but today the electric legs is the better choice, especially if you are making a lot of short trips That gets old really quick I want the option on a button, and for that price, I should have it
