Highway pegs off engine guard...
05/28/16 at 14:57:03
I was wondering if anyone had any pics of highway pegs used off the stock Suzuki S40 engine guard. I know the Suzuki one is very small and doesn't protect well, but unfortunately Wingerine stopped making theirs so I only have one option. I still think the Suzuki one would be great to mount some pegs on for when I ride on the highway so I can stretch out a bit. Interested in seeing some various setups.

I use kuryakyn longhorn highway pegs mounted to the stock S40 engine guard on both bikes.
Plus: The extend out further than the bars (more leg stretch).
Minus: not cheap
A couple pics:
If you are on facebook, just browse my page. Lots of pictures of both bikes. Both with pegs folded up (not in use) and down (water crossing, leg resting).

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

In recliner. Dark outside. Not gonna' do pictures, but I gave around $100 for the original Suzuki engine bars. Because I have back issues I put some Drag Specialty folding highway bars on and use one at a time for a "Human Frame Twister" when getting stiff or achey. About $24 for the bars that fit 7/8" or 1" bars with spacers provided.
