Cant say enough about the wealth of knowledge on this forum when i went to buy the bike it stalled on me bringing it home but because i knew from lurking on this forum about the raptor it was an easy fix. About a year ago I developed the head plug leak and a month ago it got pretty bad But thanks to your info I fixed it last weekend and the dealership had quoted 4 to 5 hundred dollars next the tensioner

I would like to include myself I that word of thanks as well , what I learned and still learning here can't be be replaced , so a huge Thank You to this Forum. I know I'm a smart ass , I know I'm a pain in the ass , deal with it !

It didn't run well, kept stalling. I had the stator and the carb rebuilt, put in the raptor Petcock and a new battery & rear tire. It runs so well I can't get my son off it! Thanks guys for all the great info. I haven't done the cam adjuster yet but that will be next.

In addition to my S40, I bought a vulcan 500 last year. It's now for sale/trade for another S40, which I will turn into another style of 2 wheel hotrod!!!
