There is no guarantee that the gasket won't tear when you remove the cover. And you should order a Versy head plug to stop future oil leaks.

Nope...the hole where the Versy plug goes will be exposed when you remove the head cover.

Don't drag your feet about buying the 94mm from Lancer - I believe he only has 1 left. If you miss it you will have to get a 95 or 96mm....or maybe find a 97mm - and all of those will require you to get a cylinder bored. (Or maybe Lancer will get another batch of 94mm pistons made someday....but that will take a while).

I've been trying to find this 94mm piston online, for the DR650 90-95 years, but can only find the ones 95-97mm which require boring. Is there some reason these are not available without having to special order them, and likely in more then just one piston at a time? Any plans to make another order? Dying to do this upgrade... Also, it seems they are now around $100ish as opposed to $200. Did they just go down in cost, or does having to order them in 94mm increase the cost?

Hmm, well from what I can tell from the previous posts, it's been 3ish years since a batch of these were ordered... I wonder if another batch of 10 could be arranged...? I would definitely be in for one, even two if that would help meet the quota...

Given the performance advantages of this it seems like they'd be available more often, lol.

I did get another order last year and still have 94mm pistons in stock.
$199 each and that includes shipping within the US.

I have to order 12 units at a time. They need to makes new blanks each time I order and 1or 2 may not be usable so I actually receive less than 12. One time I got 13 instead of 12.

These pistons are not listed with there other parts because they are a special order that Wiseco makes for me.
