...Here are the foot controls. The shifter and brake pedals are off the factory forward controls. I also cut off the pivots and welded them to the backside of the plate...

I like your foot peg set up. I was planning on going a bit more froward with mine with some Yamaha XS pegs and brake pedal I picked up but the simplicity of your setup look appealing. Were you able to use the stock shift linkage?

I wanted to go further forward but I dislike things hanging under the frame rails. I was going to copy the peg setup from an RD350/400 that goes under the frame across to either side...
The linkage was cut and lengthened 1/4 to 1/2".

Thanks. I have set of XS400 pegs I plan on using.
I'm keeping the low pipe so I can't go under the frame anyway. I'll hang them off a bracket like you used. That will get the pegs forward but my linkages and levers will likely be a bit more complicated. Your setup looks almost fool proof.
Your build is very nice. You pulled it together perfectly without much "fabrication fuss". Simple and elegant in a way. Odd choice of words for a tracker project but it's really well put together.

Oh yeah, how much trouble was the CM400 tank? They look pretty roomy underneath. Enough room to keep the stock decompression solenoid and coil?
I was looking at a few on eBay but I wondered if the tunnel was too shallow but your's sits down perfectly.

Would you consider creating kits for the custom-made parts?

He has the bike listed on craigslist in Florida.
A nice guy and did great work on this bike. I contacted him when I saw it listed and picked his brain a bit.
