I don't think Trump is too engaged in symbolic gestures. Will it wkrk? Who knows? Is it even RIGHT to Pry the door to a market open through economic sanctions when the Reason why they don't want our beef is the CRAP we pump into it. They have a government that is actually trying to protect their people. They aren't closing the door to our beef to protect their market, they are doing it to protect their People. Their long term Health.

If we want their business, we need to produce a product that meets their needs.

Aaaand Now, the Sovereign Citizen movement.. I Think there is a chance that there is something there that would afford people a bit of a buffer against the intrusive nanny state, but I don't know just how far that goes. The absolute slave mentality that some people seem to believe is the extent of their Rights is just the other side of the same coin.
