I don't have time for deep seated hate.
You exhibit signs of being convinced life SHOULD be the warm fuzzy PC way. It's not gonna work. America said
No
To status quo. The hope and change Obama offered stunk.
Trump is accomplishing what he said.
Relax, enjoy watching our government change.
Now, all you geniuses who fail to get this. I will say it again.
Unless Trump gets rid of the Emergency War Powers
And
Does something about the federal reserve and the debt
We won't actually BE made whole.

Not to worry - I live pretty well entrenched in the real world, thanks. Most Americans do.
For some reason, you think the only one who understands anything of the real world is you... you may want to check that attitude at the door.
Basing your perspective of me on the fact that I watched Sesame Street when I was 5 is just plain ignorant - check that too.
I knew what was going to happen after 9/11. I saw the direction the country took. We can never go back. We can only change from here. That was one of the reasons I voted for Obama - I honestly thought he'd change things - I was wrong. But more important - he was wrong.
While I know that he did some good, more good than McCain and palin would have done, he failed to change anything substantially. He had the chance and balked in the name of "compromise".
Yep - I voted for him for a second term fully aware of his faults. Rmoney was poised to sell and sell hard - make no mistake. And again, Obama didn't quite do as much as he could of.
So if I was so unhappy about Obama, what's so wrong with trump? My fear (and it gets re-enforced a little more every day) is that all trump has ever sought is power. Power at pretty much any cost. He's not a humanitarian, he's not a philanthropist, he's not a civil servant - he's a raw, unmitigated capitalist with a gigantic ego.
More than anything else, I'm not in protest of trump - I'm in fear. In fear that he'll rack up even more debt, that he'll diminish the office of president, fear that he'll (maybe unintentionally) hurt our democracy.
But you are right - trump should relinquish the war powers. He should take action against the debt. He should begin the restructuring of our county's "lien holder".
Do you think, given trump's record, he'll do any of that? I don't. That's why I oppose him. I hope I'm wrong, but so far, nothing's giving me that hope.
