Where's the outrage?
02/05/17 at 18:01:46

Do the left not want the same rights freedoms for others as they want for themselves? How would they respond if a Voice in Support of Diversity was met by violent protest and rioting, burning and wrecking property, unhinged college professors screaming at campus security, telling them they need to attack the Neonazis and protect the poor defenseless young adults? If YOU want to be free, YOU simply MUST protect the freedoms of others. The society that can squash the Rights of others can squash yours.
That's Why the left is so scared. They have run roughshod over those of us who don't agree with them. They are pretending that the more right leaning pose a physical threat, and a desire to crush them. They are obviously afraid of even hearing words that express ideas that don't align with their agenda.

I'm SO confused. If I speak negatively of a flaming f*g**t, it's hate speech and homophobia. Yet, I like and support Milo. They hate him and are willing to physically attack those who would dare go listen to him. WTF? If the right disagree with a f*g**t, it's not disagreeing with h i s ideas, it's simply Hate, because he is queer! I was called racist for disagreeing with Obama until I wanted to scream. Now, you lefties are suddenly able to see a line between ideology and race or gender identity.. AMAZING!!!
The left seriously need to bring your attack dogs to heel instead of quietly giggling and whispering You Go Get 'em...
Because when people get enough of being bullied, they hit back, HARD. And the inverted logic of the left will conveniently allow Them to forget what They have done. All they will see, all they will talk about, will be what horrible people those right wing bullies are, after the snoflakes have been rightfully pounded into submission.

I'm wondering WHY the authorities are allowing it to go this far. It's almost as if they Want a societal uproar. A reason to declare martial law, perhaps? Which would crush the economy, and give them a scapegoat to blame for the inevitable crash that would follow.
The faces we see aren't the faces of the policy makers.

Can you see a difference between hating the KKK and hating blacks?...

wow Sew, with such a narrow field of vision, it's amazing you can even walk.....

Milo is Hitler and the KKK because his views, shared by a minimum of 50 - 75 million adult Americans would be my guess, are on par with Hitler?

Once again, a demonstration why you guys lost middle America, and not just the geographical center of the country, but the center of common sense.

The alt left, of which you are a prime example, is currently more closely aligned with violent dictators than the right has ever even thought of being.

Fact is Sew, look in the bloody streets and then back in the mirror. You've got the hood on, not me. Your condoning violence in the street, not me. Your condoning censorship in universities, not me.

You'll be the one standing over mass graves dug with metaphorically with your own hands, not me.

It is long time for the left quit making allegations & assertions regarding nazis.  That occurred over 70 years ago....

They definitely don't like talking about 10 of millions the communists killed.  In fact, the nazis called hold a candle to the communists.

Incidentally, did you know Milo is a gay jew who likes black men?

Best regards,

If you guys look at Sow, he is the result of propaganda.
The ideology of the libs, which, by the way is a misnomer, they are really rigorous believers, not liberal and tolerant.
You see such in religious zealots, where they stake their faith on others adopting it, rejection is a affront.
It drives people to irrational behavior if you look how their actions then conflict with their beliefs, ideology.

In my faith you can see this by how the Gay person has caused folks to act.
Some feel justified by their faith to act against them in a manner that is anything but love.
I know pastor who will not let them hear his sermon....
To me, that is akin to Berkeley, and trampling free speech, because our faith, belief, is eweak, we are afraid it won't stand to a challenge....
So we war, like the KKK, Hitler, ISIS, etc, justifying our actions with propaganda, or any other means.

Funny how Bot can ask about hating Blacks, KKK.....
If you critiqued Obama, you were accused of racism, if white.
You even had white folk call Black people names, if they were in opposition to Obama's politics......

They fight, because they are weak, and rage blinds them.
It's that simple

From what I've read, the guy seems nothing more than a pot stirrer...
Bans and protests are his forte'... Probably does it to increase book sales and speaking fees....

Pub'licity... (never heard of the twit until now,... so, it's working)
A gay Jew that hates gays and Jews?...

Buy his book...  Suckers!!!... Grin

Quote:
"On 1 February 2017, Yiannopoulos was scheduled to make a speech at UC Berkeley at 8:00 pm. Over 1,000 people gathered to non-violently protest the event.[125] According to the university, around 150 masked agitators came onto campus and interrupted the protest, setting fires, damaging property, throwing fireworks, attacking members of the crowd, and throwing rocks at the police.[126] Citing security concerns, the UC Police Department decided to cancel the event.[125][127] One person was arrested, and there was about $100,000 in damage.[128] President Donald Trump criticized the university on Twitter for failing to allow freedom of speech, and threatened to defund UC Berkeley.[129][130] After the incident, Yiannopoulos' upcoming book, Dangerous, returned to number one on Amazon's "Best Sellers" list, and as of 5 February, still holds this positions.[131]
Book

An autobiography titled Dangerous was announced in December 2016. Yiannopoulos has reportedly received a $250,000 advance

Too late for that  Angry

You want to field my question?
Tell me, what it is that is driving the left that should concern us.
Not supposition or hyperbole, but facts.
Why are all the folks who voted for Trump wrong?

C'mon Bot, reply.
Safe zones do not enlighten but only drive ignorance deeper.

Why is it dialogue is not welcomed by the left?

Why cloak opposing opines under PC, ridicule, labeling, while lofting ones own views as superior?
You should be able to defend them on merit, try, or?

It's a snow day for me, you want to try and recover my brain?  Grin

You should be kidding, but I'm afraid you're not.

We have a reality show, sexist, bully, with clinical symptoms of extreme narcissism in charge of the free world.
He speaks at a 4th grade level and goes off half-cocked.
His closest ally is Putin, whilst England, France, Germany, Japan, and Mexico relations have been degraded.
Since taking charge he has done nothing but create enemies, and dictate unconstitutional edicts through executive actions. (I remember when you Pub's hated that)...
You can all throw away your pocket Constitutions now.
It no longer applies...
EPA and Forest Service have been muzzled.
Government funded, scientific studies have been pulled from public viewing.
Websites and Facebook accounts have been suspended.
Wall street and banks are being deregulated.
(remember how well that went?)...

Leaks from within the White House say, "it's Lord of the Flies in here"... "everyone is out for themselves"...Huh

All hail the orange man with tiny hands...

I'll try again, please think about what I say....as I am looking for dialogue.
Orange hair, tiny hands, minimizing my inquiry, as kidding, etc, will bring us no honest exchange.

You remarked about those here, who voted Trump, as gloating....remember?
I will guess you found that as a turn off to dialogue, yes?
I agree.
But can you tell me why the left is allowed to dismiss opposing views, beliefs, dialogue, with much of the same reasoning as those gloating?

Do you think Trump has the power to really change all of our policies, and relationships, by himself?
How, if yes?
What about all the other influences, checks, and balances?
Why can't the opposition work within the system, to change Trump's policies.....
Is he better at politics than them?
How does stymieing debate work to educate those of wrong ideologies?

Are we to believe anger, and its execution, is the way to solve differences of beliefs, and ideologies?

Do you think other countries should dictate our policies, according to what they want, for their own benefit.....
Or, our we not beholden to assure our sovereignty, first?

Hope you will take a stab at this.

I think if you see Trump merely as a "pawn", and that might be elevating him to a higher status than he deserves  Grin

To those who have felt, and I say for many, many, years, left out, by Washington politics, and its willing accomplice, as finding voice, and numbers, to enact change, to "their" country, as well....

Then I don't see how you can justify not engaging them, just as you expect now, of your opposition, to "Trump"

Boycotting, tweeting themselves, going into the gutter, will only serve those who minds are closed, blinded by delusional ideologues....

Denying the rest of us, solutions, only ensuring more of the same contempt, and disheveled politics, that have divided us....

Honest Bot, I hope you engage, for as I stated before, I do NOT want a one party rule, or a civil war....

No one wins if that is the only two choices left  Embarrassed

Finally, I do not feel its as bad as reported, either.
I think we, as active posters, find it doves with our own feelings, strange as it is....we believe our self too much?
But I live, and experience, a very diverse community.
It gets idle chatter, but does not really impact community diversion.

Patty Murray lives here, and travels about shopping, etc, without any threat or guard.
Our Lesbian community is pretty famous, and invites vacations of other members here to relax, enjoy, and socialize.
We have a very big "outdoors" sport community, guns, and all....
Two deer killings per year, waterfowl, etc, very conservative....
And no one tries to deny them their right.
Lots of churches too, even what might be called "new age" Christianity with a very relaxed doctrine.
We have Academy Award winning folks as neighbors, who travel to Hollywood, etc, for trade, but call this home, away from the glitz of those big cities.
We have numerous writer.
My wife has numerous autograph works, of first editions, by them....
Even the first military lesbian officer, who challenged its policies, and won.
Her life story was made a movie.
We have extreme wealth, and we have blue collar, all standing in the same line, at the grocery store, or sharing the same crabbing spots....

Its life Bot, that I am sure you too, can relate, for I think deep down our "caring" is what brings us to this board....

We have way more in common, that what divides us, I believe that.

Funny how you are uncivil and insulting, until I am goaded into responding in kind.
Then you call for civil discourse.
Roll Eyes

But can you tell me why the left is allowed to dismiss opposing views, beliefs, dialogue, with much of the same reasoning as those gloating?
Views that limit personal freedoms based on race, gender, religion, etc are not opinions but dictates

Do you think Trump has the power to really change all of our policies, and relationships, by himself?
How, if yes?
What about all the other influences, checks, and balances?
Why can't the opposition work within the system, to change Trump's policies.....
Is he better at politics than them?
Challenges are being made, through legal process, lobbying of Congressmen, and protest.  This is the system of checks and balances

How does stymieing debate work to educate those of wrong ideologies?
false premiss. false assumption..

Are we to believe anger, and its execution, is the way to solve differences of beliefs, and ideologies?
Ask the Tea Party

Do you think other countries should dictate our policies, according to what they want, for their own benefit.....
Or, our we not beholden to assure our sovereignty, first?
We have an obligation to work with our global partners...
Nationalism is dangerous... (invoke Hitler, Stalin here - comparisons must be made where they are so obvious)...

Hope you will take a stab at this.
Stabbed

I think if you see Trump merely as a "pawn", and that might be elevating him to a higher status than he deserves  Grin
Not a pawn... a dim, egomaniacal nutjob... .. a self promoting, crass, uncultured, simpleton...
