Is/was he in trouble for lying about a conversation, or was it the topic?

Didn't Obama talk to Cuba and Iran about sanctions, etc, without input from anyone else?

Could he just used, "I don't recall" as a answer, seems it works for some Grin

In any other administration, this is a 20 minute story. But with the leftist MSM on full bore attack mode, they will extract far more than their allotted pound of flesh. They will not be satisfied with this amount of blood in the water. This tiny level of revenge is not enough to quench the thirst of the scorned spouse. In this case, the MSM has been cheated on by her lover, The American people. Hell knows no fury like a media scorned or something like that.

It's out of control. Even the highest point of the Bush Derangement Syndrome wasn't half of what the TDS is. I barely read my local paper anymore, what's the point? Same with the network news. There is not even an attempt to fool some people into believing they are responsible journalists.

At least with Obama, the media's guy was in charge, they all wore the same color jersey so to speak. Their job was to cover his a$$, pretty simple. The diaster known as Hilary came along which made it tougher to hide Hopey's screwups, but they managed. Unfortunately, vast sections of middle America turned against them and elected Trump because there simply was no way to cover for Hilary.

Now they have launched a frontal assault on who they perceive to be the enemy: me. To which I say "bring it on." I was surprised at the election results on one hand because I didn't think the few instances I saw in my travels were as wide widespread as they turned out to be. But I am beginning to think this doubling down the media's undertaking will further galvanize an anti-media trend. Since the media's sold their souls and have gone all in for one party, the backlash will continue to hit the Communist opps...sorry, I mean Democratic party.

This,.. was an underling, Flynn, discussing policy with a foreign entity and misinforming the VP and POTUS..
Whatever Obama did was as POTUS...

Obama was anything but uninformed... Like him or not, he was a voracious consumer of information.

OK, I got some info now....
Flynn did this contact while Obama was still in office, so that was the deal breaker. Has to do with a " one president at a time" .

I get that, makes sense.....
But I hope if any members meet or talk to foreign leaders, let's say, Pelosi talking to Mexico about immigration and telling him she won't enforce this presidents policies, then shouldn't we expect the same hammer to fall?

....and my point still stands. Journalist are coming back from their 8 year vacation and are pissed to find the majority of John Q. Public didnt go along with their coronation plans.....

Every tiny issue will be turned into a "gate". Can't wait to hear the first "journalist" say: what did the President know and when did he know it.

and I'm not disputing Flynn needed to go. From what I've read (and I can't believe most of it so I have to search around) he had a conversation before Trump's inauguration with Russian officials and when Mike Pence ask him about it, he apparently lied. OK fine, so he's got to go. But hell, Hopey used the IRS to target selective groups and you had to look hard to find that story.

but none of this is a surprise. Everyone knew the hypocrisy factor would be off the charts. you guys have a guardian angel looking out after you which is a huge benefit. Good for you. Didn't work out so well on the last election so you going to make up for it.

Hmmm.. last time I checked, I wasn't a "you guys" - I was an American. Hey, what do you know? I still am! So are you (I assume).

So enough of the "yeah, but - yeah, but". "Hopey", as you so affectionately call him, was never found to be even remotely responsible for the IRS targeting.

And as to the "scandal after scandal" you mention... lol - what? Benghazi? Solyndra? ACA? Please... grasping at straws.

Mark these words - we haven't seen the end of this type of thing from the trump administration (and keep in mind - he hasn't even been in office a month yet...lol!)

Oh please, a couple questions were asked, Hopey answered, "journalists" eyes fluttered, deep breaths were taken and the matter was closed. Who knows what role Hope had in that. He had an offensive line wearing press credentials around their necks. You're right, they were turned into straws and forgotten about.

Hey, pat yourself on the back, you've got the referees on your side. It just makes the task of crushing you that much more difficult. Not impossible, just difficult.

And by the way, I'm sitting in an airport listening to someone at CNN seriously question Trump security at his Palm Beach estate. Seriously?! They covered for Hilary for two years and they're going to bring up that?!
The kicker is, they'll get by with it. You guys will repeat it without even remembering Hilary's home server. Gosh you all have brass balls.
