America, settled by independent, self motivated, determined people, built up a society, YES MARTHA, IMMIGRANTS, but not one of them snuck in and headed for the Department of Health and Human Services to sign up for a check. They came, some with nothing, some with five dollars and some were indentured servants, and No Martha, that doesn't mean they had false teeth. Many, when others were moving too close and the hunting became less productive or they just didn't want to be crowded, moved on West. Individuality and strength of character, perseverance built America. Humanity is a tribal creature. If you don't know that, you don't know HOW the slaves who got here were first acquired. For the most part, they were captured by members of another, equally black, equally African, TRIBE, and sold into slavery. Not nice, but Indicative of Human Nature. We've come a Long Way from the fifties and sixties. And frankly I'm tired of being told that without someone constantly clubbing me over the head to Not run join the KKK that I'd surely be a white supremacist. Stuff that. I've survived bullying and being mugged nearly daily by a few Mexicans for my change after lunch. I've been denied a job with the phone company, because I was not a minority or pregnant. But I didn't try to get even. I just went about my life. Today, we're a joke as a nation. Butt Hurt Nation. People ACTUALLY , actively Looking for some way to take something that would have been shrugged off twenty years ago, but today, it's an intolerable affront, microaggressions send young adults tearfully seeking a Safe Space. It's taken years to accomplish it, but the Fruits of the labor to make America the most whimpering bunch of butt hurt crybabies has paid off. I'm absolutely shocked that schools are still able to find enough boys with enough enthusiasm for competition to be willing overcome the challenges of going to practice, running wind sprints, risking injury, etc. I saw TWO boys on bicycles the other day. So shocking to see that it warranted mention. Our kids are soft and lazy, entitled,, . I'm not talking left and right, I'm talking about Our Society, in general. And frankly, I'm unimpressed. I'm not exactly impressed by adults who argue about things but have no desire to look at the roots of it, either. You guys do know that listening to a woman talk about How the schools got to the state they are in requires no effort, right? Charlotte Iserbyt was in the Department of Education. And I saw things happening, as they happened, and dadgummit if she doesn't explain Why it was done. You can keep hammering at the little bumps on the surface and arguing about which bump is more important, but until we have a majority of people who have spent the time to understand what the core of it all is, we can't force change. The little bumps will go away, once the tumors that have grown through the belly of our once great nation are addressed. Become Curious about what you don't know. If you're arguing from the position that you felt comfortable with, and was supported by any public school system or major news source, there is no way you can hope to be on solid ground. The divide and conquer game is being played on all of us. Read about the Emergency War Powers act and what it means.
