Well if you think it's strong enough ,I was worried about the added stress and pounding a hardtail will have to deal with .

What do people think of the stance so far?
Looks the dog's bollocks to me. I like how you've managed to stretch it out AND keep the rubber band. Good call. It'd look cool with some ace bars.

Yep i'm still logging in from time to time. I have spent the last 5 months moving home and sorting that out, now nearly finished building a new workshop ... aka 'the shed of dreams' so things will be back on track before too long.

That's one fine shed , some paint and a fridge full of PBR and call it done.
I like the wide door for the bikes , great job you should be proud of that build !

I've started to fill up the new shed this weekend, moved the mill and lathe in, but the bikes are still at the old workshop. I've only 3 bikes to bring and one of those isn't mine so will be gone before too long.
Shed is 4mx10m

I really hate watching a guy suffer so.
What are the specs on that floor?

Yeah, machine shop equipment doesn't sit right on 2X6es and plywood..
I don't know your address so I can't send a
Condolences card to try to help you through this very difficult time.
Just know I feel for you.....

Wow , I've lived in smaller houses than your shed ! I love your designer furniture
A wrap around porch would be awsome.

Fel-Pro has some good materials, but Mr. Gasket looks good, too. Decorating is so hard.

The shop is awesome.
But let's get back to the bike build
Your machining and fab is great! I like the stance. You must be close to 70 inches axle to axle?
Curious to see a number of things that yet to come; seat, handle bars, electrics and foot controls to name a few.

Glad to see this is getting back on track.
Whatever happened to the other top speed freak and his build? Need to get that thread up again. We really need a build section of the forum to keep track of all these builds.
