It is an interesting report by the Director, and thanks as I missed it..guess I'm getting too old. Previously on tv all I had heard was mishandling (putting on a private server) of information on the that was later upgraded in classification was found. Hmmm, well, after Benghazi she had lost any chance as far as I was concerned.

I do not understand, is the Director saying no one has ever been prosecuted for releasing classified information, or that no one has ever been prosecuted for putting classified information on a private server (which he reports was never compromised)?

As Forest Gump so wisely put it, "Stupid is as stupid does." Why the government even would allow an official to use an unofficial system to work official business is way beyond me. So she did, and they found many examples of classified info being sent on her server but apparently since the server was secure (in that it was never b reached) makes it not a crime since she never divulged classified info. This is my take on the situation. Thus, no actionable crime was committed, thus no prosecution was recommended. I no not see shadow governments etc, only a sidestepping of rational behavior and, government being all to much like business sometimes, no one in the organization would tell the boss to use the government system. How many snakes can you fit in one city?

Anyone who didn't pay attention to everything might conclude as you did.
Leaving classified information in an unsecured location is a crime, whether it is taken by anyone or not.
Failure to protect the information is a crime. It was not a secure server.
They COULDN'T prosecute her Without revealing the fact that EVERYONE she communicated with was also engaged in breaking the law. Does it really not send up a red flag that Bill Clinton was talking to the AG?
Your wife is being investigated by the county sheriff, and You go visit the DA? You know how that would work out?
The DA takes the evidence that the detective gathers and decides if they have enough to indict. Comey ADMITTED that ANYONE ELSE in the Same situation would have No Reason to believe that THEY would not be prosecuted.
Admit it. She Should have been indicted.
