Just in case you didn't know, Newton predicts that the apocalypse will occur in 2060.

That birthday cake would be littered with Roman Numerals.

Newton has been a name I've respected for a long time. That he spent time puzzling over such is no surprise.
I'm not gonna be around for his prediction to see if he's right. And the way I see it, the world is a long way from the return of Christ. A lot more stuff has to happen than I can imagine happening in fifty years.

Wink

Yeah... it doesn't surprise me that the sacred was inseparable from his scientific work... I mean, gravity is an invisible force that acts on everything... Sounds a lot like a description of G*d to me. And the same goes for his feelings about the sacred world - he approached them with scientific rigor.

And his religious/personal views have little affect on my admiration for him or his good work. First, because his views aren't all that shocking or horrible in my book, and 2) Over the years, I have come to separate achievements from personalities.

I just posted it for novelty. Fun stuff. Might help with a game of Jeopardy or Trivial Pursuit Smiley
