Square this......

We has the liberals who think Islam is absolutely not tethered in anyway to the terrorist activities, and advise folks to chill and not cave into fears...

Lets look at the definition of fear:
noun
1.
a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.
Synonyms: foreboding, apprehension, consternation, dismay, dread, terror, fright, panic, horror, trepidation, qualm.
Antonyms: courage, security, calm, intrepidity.
2.
a specific instance of or propensity for such a feeling:
an abnormal fear of heights.
Synonyms: phobia, aversion; bęte noire, bogy, bogey, bugbear.
Antonyms: liking, fondness, penchant, predilection.
3.
concern or anxiety; solicitude:
a fear for someone's safety.

WOW.....that is pretty telling, yes?

It can be real, or imagined, whoa.... imagined, so its like a belief then, yes?
Pretty much emotional based, it seems, like a phobia.
Produces anxiety, dang, not good.

Yes, fear is toxic, when its viewed as a pretense, absolutely agree gang?
Sure isn't productive, is it?

Yes, I can see where if we fixate too much on the Islam/Muslim connection to the terrorist, it can lead to very unproductive results at getting to the real problem.

Now.....

Lets look at the left/liberals, media, etc, and their attacks on Trump.

What do they fear?

Based on?

Facts, or suppositions, of possibilities, or?

Yeah.....?

Its obvious to me fear can also be subjective, when you use it to justify, your beliefs......

Oh how revealing of human nature if one drops his prejudice and pretense at the door, and enters with an open mind....

Its funny, sad, and not about to change any time soon.
Way too many folks invested in the outcome.....
No, no, none of you here, heck no, you have the absolute right, to fear   Grin

Looking like idiots on the world stage - thanks tweety.

Facts - unless videos and recordings of him are not him and all his tweets are fake...

Yeah.....?

Hmmm... an open mind about tweety?  Really?  So him talking about grabbing girl thingies and "moving on her like a pregnant dog" and mocking a reporter with cerebral palsy weren't giving anyone a preview of what this man is about?

Its funny, sad, and not about to change any time soon.

Well, here's what fear gets you - This is a direct quote from congressman clay higgins:

"The free world…all of Christendom…is at war with Islamic horror. Not one penny of American treasure should be granted to any nation who harbors these heathen animals. Not a single radicalized Islamic suspect should be granted any measure of quarter. Their intended entry to the American homeland should be summarily denied. Every conceivable measure should be engaged to hunt them down. Hunt them, identify them, and kill them. Kill them all. For the sake of all that is good and righteous. Kill them all.”

Hmmm... sounds reasonable, huh?  Not too unhinged at all....(eyeroll)

One little problem there clay.... how ya gonna identify the "radicalized" ones, hmm?

Yet you pose questions in your statement... It's not like they're rhetorical.  Do you want your questions to go unanswered?

Liberals fear Trump for a lot of reasons, but deep down inside, it's based on the fact evil always recognizes when it's in the presence of good.
Liberalism is anti-human. Abortion, environmentalism, population control etc... are all activities put the individual first. It's selfishness, it's evil. It's why atheist are liberals; selfishness is the very heart of atheism. The out of control, hyperventilating reactions to Trump and conservatism in general are, on one hand funny to watch, but should elicit some display of sympathy.

Not sure if ignorance is the same as playing stupid, or just regurgitating talking points....

But anyway, since this has now resulted in a thread jack, I'll will respond out of Public Service.....

Here TT, learn, if you can, or utter stupidity, its your call.

Republican governments during the Reconstruction era established the first public school systems to be supported by general taxes. Both whites and blacks would be admitted, but legislators agreed on racially segregated schools. (The few integrated schools were located in New Orleans).

Particularly after white Democrats regained control of the state legislatures in former Confederate states, they consistently underfunded public schools for blacks which continued until 1954 when the United States Supreme Court declared state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional.

That's a stupid statement.  Just like these:

Do you deny good recognizes when it's in the presence of good?

Do you deny evil recognizes when it's in the presence of evil?

Do you deny good recognizes when it's in the presence of evil?

Honestly Web, as weird as it seems, selfish is subjective, depending on context.
But the wholesale answer to your question is I can not make such a claim as that.
I lack the ability to discern every atheists intentions.

As to your second question.....
Does evil recognize good?
Again, sorry, context is everything.

The danger in labeling actions of others according to my beliefs sets up a possible confrontation.
If we navigate through life based on our own assumptions, by default, we have denied others of that which we ourself demand.
I will use as example the liberals censoring free speak on campus by anybody who does not believe as them.
The left leaning media colors its new accordingly too.

This is not a sustainable behavior regardless of who holds the power or sway.

This not to say we can't condemn something we find issue with.
However, that sword has two edges, and we better be sure our character won't be cut on the backswing....
