Re: the Georgia race yesterday.....
The left had one player up, spend records from the heart of the movement, California, etc, to be able to spin their own revelation as gospel.
They lost.
Now come mid term, that luxury of money equates to power via exposure, hype, will be greatly diluted, as it will have to be spread out to possible viable races of change, at the cost of leaving held seats under funded.
Maybe the good thing is that it could break the bank on Soros

My take is that, once again, the dems run a centrist (read establishment) campaign and of course - lose. Not progressive in the least.
The dems and GOPers are on their way out - take note people. No amount of money will get you an
establishment
win.

I think most of us here agree with that "swamp draining"
But tell me how you circumvent the media, who control the sheep minds, and pull the strings of the established puppets?
Tweets?

Yes - and no.
Social media - for better or worse - is going to usurp all traditional media outlets. TV is dying in the news segment. Far more get their news online than anywhere else. This is especially true of young people (obviously).
Whether you like it or not - people like Jon Oliver, Cenk Uygur, crazy alex jones (cringe) and the like are drawing massive viewership. For the most part, it's truth to power (with alex being the exception).
It's not
all
about party affiliation - If you don't believe me, look at Uygur's reactions to hillary and even the loser from last night's election in GA.
The reason pure digital sources are becoming more and more popular is that they're
NOT
affiliated with any network conglomerate (msnbc, fox, cnn, etc.)
Like I've said all along - people are better informed now than at anytime in our history. Yes, they can pick and choose, but the truth, however painful, will rise to the top eventually.

I can't argue against the same argument I have made in the past, how the Internet, etc, will provide a so called , instant recall ability and lies more readily accessible to hang in the liar as they try to spin another....
But how do we keep the powerful from getting control over free bandwidth?

Yep - it's working with tweety....
But how do we keep the powerful from getting control over free bandwidth?
By keeping net neutrality. You can bet that if a giant corporation is in favor of killing NN, then it's only gonna benefit them - not the consumer.
tweety has chosen the worst possible person to head the FCC. It's funny, I hear all the talk from GOPers about free enterprise and small businesses - just wait until the GOPers do their damage on the internet. If NN falls, you're gonna see a whole new web-verse & it won't be pretty - no more internet startups...

I am so ignorant on the matter....
I know others have broached the subject, but I never could wrap any understanding around it.
Maybe a new thread, another try, at how this piece fits the puzzle?

With so much fake news, lies, and pre-conceived opinions out there, I think your deluding yourself on the truth will rise to the surface.

It's just hard to see how someone can See ,,,Establishment,,
And Not See that the Historical Figures who WARNED us of a power, unelected by and unanswerable to the People were right.
The Trump Hating bubs ARE exposed as Not responsive to the People, so Who do they work for?
Can anyone solve that riddle?

Best regards,
Yep - to fill a republican vacancy.. hardly a leadership position....
President Obama nominated former Federal Communications Commission deputy general counsel Ajit Pai and Senate Commerce Committee senior communications counsel Jessica Rosenworcel on Monday to fill the two vacancies on the Commission left by Republican Meredith Attwell Baker's departure to join Comcast earlier this year and Democratic Commissioner Michael Copps' eventual retirement.
Typical GOP - only knows half the story and pretends that it's gospel... lol
Why not throw in "You didn't build it..."

Yes - Appointed to the commission as a replacement - Ajit had worked at the FCC before then. (read the quote I pasted)
Tweety put him in the chairman's seat, not Obama.
Let's not overlook the context folks...

ok, he replaced a like for like, so to speak, not the best one he could of?
Then tweets put him in the #1 position, is that right?
Why is this person different ?
