Again, imagine if this had been Obama, and he had ownership of a hotel in DC, and held a fundraiser there... the GOPers would go bananas!

I think it stands pretty well. You see jog - when you own a business - let's say a hotel - and then you want to plan an event for... oh.. I dunno - the re-election campaign you're going to run 3 years from now. Any normal person would say - nah, we shouldn't do it at my hotel, since I'm the president, that might show favoritism and bias, not to mention no faith in the other hotels (and their owners) in town that I now represent....

But tweety ain't normal - is he? The righties just LOVE his trips to maralago and and continued use of his hotel.... isn't that so great??!?!

Drink it in... lap it up... tweety loves to bathe in the right's hypocrisy....

To me this is not an issue. Regardless, it alleviate multiple security concerns having first hand knowledge of the property and staff. Get over it, it is a hotel.... Roll Eyes
