I hope you can understand it. Self, is the greatest obstacle of self.
As surely as any childhood disease, or the finality of a cancer that eats my body to end.....
Self, is that which cares not of, myself.


Trapped in a prison....
of my own design.

Bemoaning reality....
if only its mine.

Choosing to simmer....
anger with thought.

Ugliness lingers....
my mind with its rot.

Taking my time....
joy, and my peace.

Not realizing tis' I......
myself that I fleece.

Why do I harbor....
nothing to keep.

Walking through life.....
in ignorant sleep.

Who has the power....
the knowledge,
to heal?

Righting my ship.....
straightening her keel.

Wrapped in myself....
expecting to feel.

Deluding myself....
a life numbing pill.

Who can escape.....
their thoughts from within.

Their ugliness present.....
a painting of grim.

Listen my heart.....
escape from my brain.

I've chosen rock bottom......
only misery to gain.

Look to the heavens.....
pray I might see.

That of the power.....
of love over me.

Of more than I.....
weakness and all.

The truth is revealing....
answering its call.

Amen.

Oh body and mind, understand your weakness, you've chosen the trap of fate over self.
Who does not quench their own thirst before looking upon those suffering dehydration.
Self preservation is as toxic as any plague or virus.
Destroying its host, upon which it resides.

I pray I may overcome this weakness of flesh.....
But knowing I shant, until I deny myself, first.

Hunger, and thirst, beg me to attend to its need.
Arising out of primordial instinct.....
That have proven so wrong.

A source greater than gravity.
More vast than the heavens.....
Is the only repair to freedom, of self.

Understand.
Obey.

No buddy, after reading the VOD, I typed those words out.

Why you ask?
After I retire I plan on writing, I already shared a little about my first book, attempt, remember?

Words are useless, if left unsaid.
Thoughts, a gift never wrapped, or given, to others.
Sharing life requires effort, even a parasite must cling to something to be viable.
So much better to dance, than to sit in a chair and envy, because of a frail ego.
Risking is a natural high, if it's not cruel of nature, and the buzz, priceless
