Thanks for watching! Can't wait to ride it either.

The seat is about 25 inches from the ground.

I've never done major rework on a wiring harness before so not sure how that's going to go. I'm hoping to get ready for shakedown in the next few weeks.

I've decided to move to the foot controls for a bit. I think I have all the parts I need for the wiring but I know I have to get parts with lead time for the foot controls. The pegs will end up about the same position relative to the engine as stock. I'll re-use most of the shifting gear but install after market pegs on both sides. I plan to redo the brake cable using Motion Pro.

Ruttly, you sent me diagrams when I was doing early planning, thanks for that. Smokin blue, I may take you up on your offer. I have the harness draped over the frame and more or less in position. I figure I will locate all the moved items and add dummy extensions just for length. Then take it to a work bench and strip out un-needed items and re-wire as needed for the moves.

Some foot control progress. Parts roughed out and left side mostly assembled. Obviously not the final fasteners Grin

. Just checking for fit. The open hole below the peg is the pivot for the shifter.

I'm with you Dave. Those are beautiful welds.

I almost want to buy a tig welder just to be able to weld like that. I've found that it's near impossible to layout welds like that with a cheap Mig welder. I did a lot of gas welding and braising and stick welding growing up. I think my ugliest welds have always come when using wire feed.

More on that later. 1 5/8 inch stainless tube, 16 g. The tight bend was purchased. The sweeping bend I started with a straight and used my bender. It rippled ever so slightly but only on the bottom.
