It's been a couple of days since the last update. Got to be finished by now.
EDIT: Where did all the pictures go?

It's running! I made a few short runs this afternoon.
Postimage changed the host site name so all the links are broken! I just have 260 links to update to fix it
They say they are trying to resolve it I'm guessing not.
Here's the latest. Wiring harness cover was saturated with oil so I completely stripped of wrapping and removed all interlocks, decomp controller, etc and relocated all but the ignition connection to the battery box/fake oil tank.

I was sort of joking about being done!!
Very impressed with how fast you built this. Very impressed you can build it from scratch. Very impressed, very, very impressed!! WOW is right, NICE work.
As for the pictures, I just attach them to my posts so they will stick here no matter what. I find it's actually easier than uploading them somewhere and finding the link. I just save them on my computer and attach them. The main drawback is that you can only attach one file for each post.

Thanks!
Not sure what to do about pics. Hopefully they can fix it on their end. I did go through a post or two and change all the ".org" to ".cc" Trouble is they are sprinkled in long, un-spaced strings of text, two per picture so it's tedious to find them all.

The bike looks outstanding. I can't wait for a ride report.

The ride is good. Neighborhood streets are pretty rough and the seat shock smoothed it out nicely and only used 1/2 the available travel. It's a long bike so it's not super quick but I did get the pegs up to where I should be able to get over the a 45 deg angle before they touch so I have a better chance to turn. Exhaust is just loud enough to have a chance to be heard without being deafening to me. I will have to put some kind of chain guide in as it occasionally kissed a screw on the battery box.
And now it's snowing again so I have to fix it

Progress on rear fender. Decided to do all on the e-wheel, normally I would shrink the edges a bit and then go to the wheel. I want to do some kind of edge treatment to the fender but have not decided yet what to do.
There was a suggestion to trim the seat down some time ago. I agree and trimmed it a bit. It didn't change the area the supports my butt so it still feels the same. I also put some preservative on the leather to make it more water resistant.
There's also my first attempt at a chain guide in the last pic. There's a vertical section of plastic that needs to be cut down to fit the gap between the oil tank and the chain. Wish I could go for ride but we got 18" of snow in the last few days

Looking great!
Seat looks much better. I think it would look even better if it curled down on the back. Sort of arched to (sort of) match the fender radius.
Maybe just the ends a little. Not as tight as the fender of course.
Still not digging the round oil tank, but beautiful work as always. It just doesn't go with the rest of the bike in my opinion.
But, If I were you, I wouldn't listen to me! You're doing awesome on own your own.

"yeah...I have a few minutes to kill...maybe I'll just roll a fender...oh look...it's done...and it's perfect."
You have mad skills.

My thoughts exactly, Gary.
"I need a fender. I'll just make one from scratch, like everything else!"
Getting so much enjoyment watching a craftsman work.

Thanks for watching and the comments! There's more than a few minutes in the fender
, there's maybe a couple of hours into in this last pic. I still think it needs some kind of beading to finish it but not sure if I'll do the edges or try to do something down the middle. It's taped in place with a 1/2 inch spacer under it.
I think I will put a dome shape on the right side of the 'oil tank' eventually but really can't do much to other side due to the close pass of the chain.
