A few more details. I made a small cap to dress up the trailer tail light. It just slips on over the plastic housing and butts up to the red lens. Not many in process pics but it consists of a cylinder with a cap. All hammer and dolly work due to the small size. And polished up the right side engine case, for some reason it had a lot of corrosion through the clear coat on the top side.

That bike in the background is my first build, a little Honda Nighthawk 250. I built it a few years ago. Similar to the Savage I saved the neck from the stock frame and built the rest. This one has been through many revisions. 3 tanks, 2 front fenders, 2 rear fenders, at least 5 seats. I liked the mountain bike shock on the Savage seat enough to want the same thing on the Honda. That's what drove the latest tank and seat revision. The shock on the Honda provides about 3 inches of travel and improves the ride over 3 inch coil springs substantially.

I got the bike into a few shows for later this winter. A couple are in the the Twin Cities; Progressive and Donnie Smith. Also getting ready to head for Portland OR for the One Moto Show in Feb. Really looking forward to that one. Decided on getting a cover made for the trip. This is Ron of SuperFit boat covers fitting snaps to attach the cover to the wheel chock. It was too dark to get a good pic of it all loaded up but it fits great.
