This man who had an impeccable record prior to all this crap.
He was herald, then goaded, by both parties.
Seems by trying to be a good guy and avoid a major cluster fuuck for the country, he stepped in it himself.

He knew from the emails he had seen, not the ines about a wedding  
That he felt he could steer it away from a bigger frucking mess than it already was for the country, not so much her.'
Then when more emails came to light, knowing that lots of them damaging ones about the wedding  
We're already scrubbed, now he didn't know if those wedding plans had escaped, and would give him much grief, as he said he had reviewed, etc, all the information, etc.
At this point he was covering his azz, not hers.

Jog, I think we lack the capacity and understanding associated with how a persons decision can have such a societal impact, that the rules that apply to us, are different than those applied to others.
I am not excusing the behavior, etc, just accepting the facts.

Comey didnt want to decide the election so he took what he thought was the easy way out. Roberts didn't want to end Obama's presidency before it got started so he took the easy way out with Obamacare.

In both cases, the results have been a disaster. Maybe there's a lesson in there somewhere.....

I agree that the motivation can be labeled as the easy way out, and with the Wiener laptop, I think he panicked and thought he might get caught taking it....etc.
If, that is true, I am a lot more bothered by the fact he then used his position to try and avoid being revealed in what he had done.
That would be abuse of power, his other idea of not going after Clinton can't be filed under the same motivation, I don't believe.

However, this new revelation sure gives ample cause for his firing, as he failed executing his job, by not adhering to its oath.
