As hurricanes goes, Katrina was a middle of the road category 3, but it just happened to hit in a really bad spot. If it had hit elsewhere, no one would remember it. If Irma hits populated areas, could be catastrophic. If it misses, a year from now, you won't even remember the name. I exchanged emails this morning with our guy in Puerto Rico. They've batten down and are thankful for what looks like it's going to be a near miss.
