Any recommendations for a Fork Brace? Are they worth the money? If you run one are you happy with it?

I'm gonna answer your question with a question.
What condition are you trying to correct or improve?
A fork brace will help stabilize the forks while turning or traveling over uneven pavement. Adding a fork brace can help reduce twist between the forks that can lead to high-speed wobble and tire cupping. A fork brace can improve the handling on a bike that is ridden aggressively through turns.
Are you experiencing either of these?

I talked to the fellow at Tkat today and I got the last s40 brace he has. Sadly he is retiring and closing shop.

Sad news that..

I am experiencing a small amount of wobble when hard in a curve.

Huge difference overall. Eliminates that wiggily feeling in the forks and under hard braking it stays lazer straight. Check your tire pressures & if tires are old replace them. Your gonna love the difference.i ride real hard at times , brace helps me stay in control when the road gets tough or I'm just pushin it too hard. Savage/S40 has a long fork & feels goofy on rough roads & turns. Trust me on this one , it's a great investment !!!

What he said ... about the tire pressure! I was researching fork braces, and came across a comment about tire pressure - I had been negligent!
For my riding style, proper tire pressure was enough.

Tkat that I'm quite happy with.
You will like it , no more shakey knees up front on those long sweeping curves or on the bumpy roads either .

It is a bit sad to hear that TKAT is hanging up his very capable tools, but I certainly understand his need to stop and rest. He has been very kind to help us with his fork braces. They provide an exact fit and are as strong as a Rhino.

I second Lancer's comment. The roads around here get fairly rough and the Tkat fork brace makes a world of differance.
