Veteran's Day
11/11/17 at 23:29:59

Well I don't know if this is the place for it, but I didn't see it anywhere else.

Happy veteran's day to all my brothers and sisters who served, and those still standing the watch.

To my Navy brethren, Drink to the Foam
To the Marines, Semper Fi...
To the Coast Guard, Semper Paratus
To the Army guys, HOOAH
And to the Air Force, Semper PerDiem.

Aloha,
RH
USN 1992-2015

Indeed, a perfect place for it.....

As those who put on a uniform, ensuring freedom to disagree, which is the very foundation, and governing support, to freedom of speech, FOR ALL....

I salute you!  Smiley

God Bless

Really Ray?
Do we have more freedom today because our military have been used to destroy nations?
Are you safer today?
Are you sure you're not just repeating the propaganda?

Jog, blame the politians, who were elected by citizens, who promoted and executed these wars, you disagree with, not the foot soldiers.

I hope in the future you never accuse the liberals of promoting gun restrictions, after a mass shooting.....

Simple questions, Ray.
It only requires a clear, uncluttered, mind.
Name the wars that our military engaged in that protected our FREEDOMS.
Or, quit pretending that was why they fought

There you go.
So what's up with all the
Thanks for your service
And
They are protecting our Freedoms?
Our military has been being used to do things that I don't see the benefit of in our lives. I don't see how Iraq or Libya were threatening America, yet we spent gazillions of dollars to destroy them. And why are we in Afghanistan? It's not for our Freedoms.
And I am seriously tired of being told I should appreciate what our military people are doing. I wish they would come home. Then they could stop being blown up. That seems like respecting them to me.

Jog, because you are told, does not mean you have to accept it.

My faith is under constant assault, challenges, etc.....
Others can put physical constraints upon it, however, they can never remove my belief, never.

Just because they don't believe, is not cause that I have to accept it.
They can put a lot of energy into fighting it (expression, etc) but will never be able to subdue it, and all their spent energy, etc, that disrupts their lives, is on them, not me.

You pick a battle, expect warfare, its that simple.....

Serenity Prayer bro.....
Understand its implication, in YOUR life.

Every time I set up a situation that would give you a chance to engage in introspection, you crank up with your faith. Or the battle with the bottle.

Well my faith is all I got.....
Everything else falls short.

I read what you share, but you ask for comment, and take silence as what appears as a affront or rejection....

That is not true in my case....

It's like listening to a sermon.
At the end of it the pastor ask folks to come forward.
If one come, they often seem to take it personally, as they will often invoke 2 or 3 alter calls.....

Sorry bun, not a dodge, nor am I trying to psychologically tweak you....

I am just giving you the real me  Kiss
