Jog, I am so far removed from having access to real facts, witnesses, etc.
If I was voting in that state, I would hope to have more information that wasn't ran through filters first.
This domain allows us some liberty to spout off........free of consequences.
We are not setting on a jury, or tasked with finding out the truth in a legal manner.
Yes, its weak as a excuse, but so much of what we do here is just that.
We copy and paste stuff that jives with our beliefs, and discount others when its in opposition.
A good hint of a weak and disingenuous argument is when one offers name calling, etc, in their reply/post, rebuttal, not to even mention "drive-bys".....
It shows a real lack of intellect, and character, but one we all seem to entertain from time to time.....
Some seem to live there, however.
Our libel courts would be backlogged to high heaven if "campaigning" was held to the same standards as other practices, etc.
The politicians knew very well what they were doing, when they passed laws exempting them from libel, while campaigning.
This last election is the fruit of this mindset, not tasked with deciding between two worthy choices, no, but the lessor of two evils.
We hear incessantly why the opposition is a thief, liar, crook, and not fit, while they neglect to tell us of their, er, faults too.....
The moment we "judge" others, then we shall be judged accordingly, or its a war to win, at all cost........ all weapons fair.

I know deep down that things will happen anyway, regardless of what I say, feel, think, do.....
My task is to not fight it, per se, but to overcome it, not on the "battlefield" of where its displayed, no, but in my heart and soul, where I really dwell, and nothing of the flesh can ever effect.
