Double down on stupidity.....

Playgrounds for Elites

I won't go as far as say its planned, however, the results do not lie.
Liberals think just because they believe it, then its good, and right, they only want whats fair, for all.....

Or do they?

I have been union blue collar much of my life.
I have seen the union work, when it made sure its membership was well trained, and earned their wages accordingly.
I saw the union sell out its membership to another entity, the liberal Elites.

I saw my sisters and brethren dumbed down.
I saw the message from "yes you can", to, "its their fault".
We went from apprenticeship and training, to striking and resistance....

Our leadership got fatter, our members, leaner.

You say, what does this have to do with anything......????

This blue-collar was the middle cleass.
It made up the bulk of these cities.
It made a step upward possible to those on a lower rung of the ladder to success.

I am still union.
It buys me a tee shirt, once a year.
From china.

Here, read this, where the deplorable reside, and why......

https://www.city-journal.org/html/playgrounds-elites-15494.html

Note: These folks, these elites, will be the target, of any real resistance of the Bernie's and the Deplorable, if they keep their focus on the real cause........
If you leave just a wee bit of cancer, missing it as you cut it out, it can flourish again.....
The resistance will have to reject, in total, the whole elite media, academia, etc, for it to overcome.

Interesting read - it's mostly fiction to a degree, but interesting.

I'm not sure how you got your take on this though (but it's not surprising).

The COU is a think tank - that's about it.

Their only focus is on what should happen, not too many ideas as to how to actually make them happen.

There is an obvious lack of real discussion about tax policy and how out of whack it is.  All one needs to do is look at what the contenders for Amazon's new distribution hub are doing.  No matter who is in charge - repub or dem - they are selling out their cities to get the big fish.

Further, once again, you mention the "liberal elites".  Do I need to remind you again of how much power the republicans have had in the last 7 years?

Yeah, there are liberal elites, but to think that they're the problem is short-sighted at best.  We have food deserts here in Chicago because the corporate owners of the major food stores refuse to build in an area that may not give them enough profit on a quarterly basis.  That's not to say they won't be profitable, they just won't be profitable enough.  (if you think corporations are people, then you must acknowledge that they're complete a$$holes). The small mom and pop stores can't really make a dent because the corporate owners of the land and buildings would rather have a write off than a meager business - also, their rents are out of reach many times.

In short - it's not the "liberal elites" - it's the CORPORATE elites.  Sadly, both repubs and dems are led around by the nose by them.

I will yield a partial correction on corporate elites, and yes, the repubs are just as guilty.....
What I refer is the mass propaganda machine favors the left.

But correct, their strings intertwine.
