Bad for everyone but the rich..
12/21/17 at 09:49:29

T&T quickly responded to this historical tax cut and announced Wednesday it will be issuing over 200,000 U.S. employees a special $1,000 bonus and will also increase US capital spending by $1 billion.

Also, thanks to Republicans passing historic tax reform, Boeing has announced a new $300 million investment initiative.

There’s more… Fifth Third Bancorp announced it will “raise its minimum hourly wage for all employees to $15, and distribute one-time bonus of $1,000 to more than 13,500 employees.”

More winning! Comcast announced it will invest a whopping $50 billion into infrastructure projects over the next five years due to the Republicans’ tax plan. The media giant will also give $1000 bonuses to more than 100,000 employees.

Trump is crushing Obama. Obama

All of which could have been done during the past 8 years but the big companies were waiting for the Republicans to give them a big X-Mas gift; they returned the favor.  Didn't want to do anything good while Obama was in office.  As noted elsewhere, Boing has been going strong for the past two years.

Boeing has a very unique product, and it has used it to spread the economic opportunity world wide.
You can be american based, yet include others in spreading the wealth.

This seems a big part of Trump's plan as well.
Bring it back home, but share the good fortune with others.

As I have shared before, I am very fortunate to work with a much diverse "workforce"
It truly is a global melting pot of so many different races, cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds.

Trump's economic policies  are playing very well with these folks.
Unless you have had the opportunity to talk, firsthand, not rely on media interpretations of events, of just how extremely difficult for an "average" folk in some of these countries to rise above their "birthed" status in life, then you really are ignorant in this matter.

Good, bad, or indifferent, america is spreading opportunity, and a real chance, to those who thought america was only a dream......

I think Obama's heart was in the right place, but he relied more on diplomatic negotiations, but that avenue had to go through very sketchy governments first, before it could "trickle down" to the folks who really needed it.

This money is going directly into the "workers" pocket, and they are most outstanding at spreading that good fortune with their extended families and friends, here, and abroad.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I find your premise questionable......

I have never met any corporation leadership that would risk the present, on hopes of the future.
That sounds like a recipe for disaster, and failure.
You must deal in the present, aim for the future, but never relax your goal of ever expanding your presences in the moment.

Sorry buddy, I think you are standing a little too close to your bias....  Wink

Naaah ,businesses are so short sighted and profit driven that they will damage their future earnings potential to make gains today. No way would they choose, en mass, to not make more profit.

The Tax change Created the ability to do what the article is saying.

Obama wasn't gonna drop taxes.
The left opposed the change when Trump wanted it.
Would they have supported Obama doing it?
IDK, They supported destroying Libya.

Every article I have seen explicitly stated that no upper management get the bonuses.
People are dropping land lines.
Old folks die, and that Was a land line customer.

Ruck is cherry picking data , pretending that it destroys something and organically celebrating the win. WRONG
