Your analogy is just as good as any.....
I’m not sure what has changed.
I think in years past, leaders gathered to try and formulate resolutions to problems, be it national or worldly issues.
Deals were brokered, and life went onward.
Today, it seems the goal is to expose any threat, or opposition, by planting a narrative that requires defensive energy, that diverts the attention away from achieving any consensus or resolutions.
It’s why we seem to be stuck and never get anything done.
A big part is that the media makes billions on this system, and they control a lot of that focus.
Trump is circumventing it with his overt style which gets labeled as unpresidential, divisive, crude, etc....
By the very same folk who are trying to control the narrative.
It’s money and power.
Trump knows how it’s played at the street level.
The elitist somehow think their game is more sophisticated, above the primitive nature of this madness that has driven man since they left their caves........
Fooling oneself from having to listen too much to yourself, as you fool others, leaves the truth exposed, unattended, and in the street, they will rip your belly out in a heartbeat, when given the chance....
Perhaps a sensing is taking place, the final revealing is about to be exposed....
What will rise from it, now that is the real question?
