True. Thankfully, we're nowhere near that .

I see no freedoms being taken away. In fact, since its inception, the Constitution and its Amendments have broadened this Country's freedoms and rights.

What I do see is the need for more Amendments. Ones that curtail gun accessibility - in both gun models and to certain individuals. I see the need for campaign finance reform in the form of publicly (tax dollar) funded elections. Down the road, it wouldn't surprise me to see one for healthcare coverage as well. But who knows...

Suffice it to say, we're in a lot better shape than so many on the right (especially the fervent Second Amendment crowd) would lead you to believe.

There's a suit regarding boarder guard agent placing surveillance cameras on private property near a residence. Fee's for using open range. Unrestricted surveillance.

I don't see "plenty" - but of those I do see, are challenged in court. Yes, there are cases, but nothing to the degree of "losing our freedoms".
