For every person that uses an AR-15 to commit a crime 10 children use one safely in the same day.

However I am not going to pretend that an AR-15 has less killing capacity per second than a shotgun or a pistol.

I am willing to separate the killing capacity - or even call it rounds per second from the percentage chance of it being used to commit crime.

If the solution is to say how many guns aren't used in crime, or are used to prevent it then we should issue an AR-15 to every single adult in America that has no criminal history.
