Yep ray. I made out good today too. In fact, this first quarter is shaping up pretty nicely for me - market wise. I feel pretty lucky and grateful.

Meanwhile, the middle class is withering on the vine because their wages are stuck. No growth means, well, no growth.

But yeah, why should we care about that, right?

I do give to charity, but no middle class person I know goes to a soup kitchen or shops at the food depository.

The point is, with all your "touchy feely" posts about "being in this together" and "tolerance and understanding" and all your Christian based/biased posts, I find it odd that you seem to turn a blind eye to the middle class and its current stagnation.

Give this a think - You're approaching retirement and you supposedly make over $100K - well, I hate to break it to you ray - that's now about average for what our parents standard of living would consider middle class. (1988's $50K job is equal to $105K today)

It's sad to see the mentality that "as long as I'm ok, the Country's ok".

That just ain't the way it is.
