Hey believers in Jesus.......

I have an idea.
I will need your help.

Let's start organizing to celebrate Christmas, in every statehouse, school, etc, across our nation, with displays of freedom to expression, of the birth of our Savior, in its Nativity scene.

It will be our "Sanctuary Setting" where man is free of laws, and acceptance paramount, of everyone.

What you say, can we get a movement like this going?

Are those locations being used as sanctuary settings now?

Yes, whole cities...

Mayors in their offices, governors, faculty, etc...

I wasn't aware that sanctuary cities had people setting up props in public offices.  Where is this happening?

Props and just an extension of our expression, similar to those signs and banners you see in marches and demonstrations.

Ok but you are saying placing physical items in public buildings.  Is this happening?

Marches and demonstrations, holding signs and banners I don't see as the same thing as physical props in public buildings.  If they hung those banners indefinitely on public buildings that would be the same.

Also isn't sanctuary city decided by the elected officials and not public as a whole?

Not sure any of your questions are relevant to my own desires of expression and pursuit of happiness.
Are you wanting to put restrictions upon me?

A mayor, who denies federal laws, to promote her own beliefs, should cover any objections, if I use that same umbrella to justify my actions.

Are there are places where protestors or any group for that matter doing what you propose?  Is anyone placing props in public buildings?

If my asking of this makes you unhappy I am not attempting to restrict or otherwise propose restrictions be made upon your happiness.  I am asking as it is relevant to the discussion since placing physical objects is different than what I have observed.

That is specifically what you indicate - placing physical objects into every school and statehouse in the nation.

As for a mayor that is breaking the law it is up to the constituents to remove her from office.  Given she is not accurately representing her constituents of course.

I’m not offend, sorry if my short answers seem that way...
At work, OT,and time is short.
Trying to get the shop set up to keep production moving before Monday when I go out for my last surgery.

Ok, a banner replicating the naivety scene, held up by folks , how does that change anything?

To me physical props that can be set and left are different than people engaging in the activity themselves.  I don't know why the physical placement of objects would be considered the same as holding a banner.

The comparison of sanctuary city and the actual acts of occupying space in public schools are completely different than your initial proposal.

I think if you want nativity scenes in every school in the country you should first specify if this includes private schools, I think it will be harder to claim sanctuary on private land.  Some religious groups would be willing to destroy property to get inside these buildings but I imagine it will be a small pool.

But I see that by choosing Christianity or similar you will have more numbers, and possibly with enough you could get some officials to instruct local law enforcement to allow banner holders to be in schools and public property.  To do this nationwide would be difficult, I don't think you would have enough numbers or the necessary logistics.

Private schools are very often
Christian schools.
We pay property tax
And
Tuition fees for the grandson
For a Christian school.
He's a happy, well adjusted, socially comfortable, very easy to be around kid.
It's expensive.
It's worth it.

The only person I grew up with that went to a Catholic school is in prison.  I never brought it up because its completely off-topic and anecdotal.

However I am sure that Christian Schools can already post nativity scenes on their property.  If they can't for some reason I'd consider that an issue.
