To get a warrant approved requires a judge to be convinced that there are good reasons. And do remember the judges who approved it were GOP appointees, as well as the three judges who approved the Page surveillance not to mention the judge who selected the judges for the fisa warrants. Will that stop the 'must be political' bullcrap? Obviously not. And Comey was also a GOP and republican member, and Roosenstein also a GOP.

Not all reasons are Right.
That judge misbehave.
That was a politically motivated move.
The judge may have gained ground with the left, but it's probably not gonna work out well for the judge in the long run.
