Hush up......
08/19/18 at 08:44:51

I can tell you as well, having just retired from a huge union, the Trump
had lots of support of blue collar.
BTW, they (Boeing) are offering me bonuses, etc, to come back for temporary employment, from my retirement....
Business is that good now.

Sorry, got side tracked 😋

This is a problem for libs, go ahead, spin it libbies....

That's good to hear.  My work took a 20% hit in federal funding this year and to keep things to policy they post job positions but can not find, nationwide, one single qualified candidate.

Medical providers that normally would have to retire at 57 get age waivers to continue working with the government but the age waivers will not be renewed next year.  This means the job exists, its not cut, but no one will be performing it.

So there's no job cuts, the jobs are still there but unfortunately there's no qualified people in the world that can work them now.  On my side its contracting, on the medical providers side its direct government employment.

I hear you on qualifications.....
It is a problem I am hearing frequently.
My wife is in the medical field, managing a optical practice.
Can’t get good help.
Ditto with Boeing.
I was in production, hands on....
The people they brought in were sad.
I see this in the service sector as well.
Are things just too good?
Or is it that the crop is bad?

Its that they are not accepting qualified candidates in order to save money.  In my case we have 20% cut in funds, but we are to run fully staffed?  Impossible, but on paper the jobs still exist, no job cuts, just no people placed into those positions to do the job.

If 400 medical staff lose age waivers is it reasonable to assume that those are the only 400 people worldwide that can do that job?  There's hundreds of thousands of applicants globally but no one "qualified" to do the jobs now.

Were are now starting to feel the full effect,
of the under-educated students.
All because the Principals Secretaries, assistant secretary, needs a new assistant Secretary.

The money raised through higher taxes, did NOT, go to educating the student,
but to a new, assistant Secretary, to the, Principals Secretaries, assistant Secretary, assistant Secretary.

The, ’Teaching of the Test’, that goes on, JUST, to get higher funding.
(Not at all about learning)

It will take a generation to change this.

Another great, ultra-Liberal idea, that has come to a utter failure.

So, you have a company, and want to hire smart people ?
Well the Majority will NOT, come from American Schools.

That is surely part of it.
When schools, like the government itself, are tasked for doing more than it was originally intended, something has got to give....
School was suppose to turn out young adults with the ability to provide for themselves.
Heck, we even had trade schools, that taught the students a viable trade if they didn’t proceed on to a higher learner occupation.
It sort of doves with the government having to cover the failings of education, when society loses the opportunity to “school”
at those pliable and formative years....
Instead of independents, we have taught dependency.

Boeing highers a great number of folks from other countries and cultures.
These folks, for the most part, out perform those born here.
It’s not even close......
Is it true elsewhere....???
I don’t know, but I have seen this firsthand, so I know it’s part of the equation.

This is the most telling line of the article:

These are not landslide numbers. And Trump’s disapproval ratings — 79 percent in NAACP’s study and 64 percent in Rasmussen’s — are daunting.

Yeah, so?

But really, your little quips are so witty!  We're all impressed.

It's so cool that you refer to The Wizard of Oz...
