You think Trump ran for President to make money off Mara Lago? Seriously? That's hilarious.
No, but he certainly didn't do it to serve the country - he's in it for one guy only - himself.
You've given nothing to support that, just a partisan position.
No, I'm referring to him saying "collusion is not a crime". Further, the meeting at trump tower is collusion.
I have a feeling your definition of context will come into play here... Didn't Trump say Hilary colluded with the Russians and she should be investigated? Yes, I believe he did say that many times so isn't he acknowledging that collusion as a crime? Or did he mean something else? You know, that context thing again.... The Trump meeting is collusion?! Really? You can make that statement?! Your history of predictions on what is and isn't going to happen is pretty abysmal so saying that meeting was collusion is pretty flimsy...
Without admitting he's is or isn't, isn't every politician out for himself? No. They are public servants. Their job is to serve the public. To represent the public.
Okay, no one believes that. Every politician is narcissistic, Trump in that regards is no different. Again, your foolishness is on display with that answer. I'll give you a mulligan and let you off the hook on that stupid answer.
Couldn't I just as easily say Obama ran for office because that was the only way he was ever going to get wealthy? I'm not saying he did, I'm just using your logic.
No, because his history prior to his presidency doesn't point to that. Obama served the public. I'm not saying he didn't get rich after the fact, but while he was in office, he sure as heck didn't make million on all his properties. Gee, I wonder who did?
Okay, again, couldn't I say his prior work was designed with only one goal in mind? And once in office, he knew he'd never, ever worry about anything again. He knew he was an instant multi-millionaire.
He ran numerous business' and created an entire empire. doesn't that perspective and business experience count for anything?
No, because he really didn't. The man you consider a "great businessman" bankrupted a casino... how does anyone even do that? How can you call a guy who bankrupts several times a success?
Casinos go bankrupt. Quite a few went out of business in Atlantic City. Below is just a couple lines from one article I found about that. Do you think casinos are always money makers? Are you that inept? Seriously, you've made it clear before in other answers from the past you don't know anything about business, but it would take a 4th grader to say casinos don't go bankrupt. Again, you're a funny little guy and you've been amusing on this rare day when I'm home. Thanks TT!
Three of the four recently shuttered casinos have gone through bankruptcy: Revel filed for bankruptcy for the second time on June 19; Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, owned by Trump Entertainment Resorts, filed its latest Chapter 11 petition on Sept. 9; and the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel filed on Nov. 6, 2013. Showboat Atlantic City, owned by Caesars Entertainment Operating Co., closed shop before the gaming company's voluntary Jan. 15 Chapter 11 filing.
