That the jury was undecided on 10 of the counts is a good thing because, as was pointed out on the lawfare blog, it means that the jury were being very persnickety and carefully considering their verdicts, which means that the 8 counts that they found Manafort to be guilty must have been absolutely clear cut such that whoever was holding out on the others had no qualms about the remaining 8.
