That is one of the U-L (Ultra-Liberal) Problems. The P.C., ’correct’ has run to it’s DFI extremes.
Someone asks, “how do you like your coffee” 4 answers; black, with creme, with sugar, with cream and sugar. Their should be No Need, to think, “Gee could I offend the server if I say the wrong thing ?”
This PC extremism, is so bad that it would not be unexpected, if you ordered coffee, and was asked, ‘how do you like it’, and you said, “with Sugar”, then you get slapped in the face, and charged with Sexual Harassment.
Gee sound foolish? Just as foolish as thinking when asked how you want your coffee, you say, ‘black’, then WORRY, did you offended, because the Waitress has Black skin. Ray Charles could see the Snowflakes Melting.
Many years ago, a neighbor bought the farm next door. They were City People. They had a housewarming, mostly their City friends, (and 3 neighbors from the country) I was talking to one of the City friends, and he asked me: “What do you think is the worst part of living in the Country” I said: “It’s the Coons, in fact last week I killed 4 of them in the middle of the night, Damm Coons are everywhere” He laughed, and said: ‘Ya I know, they tip over garbage cans all the time where I live” Then we went on to another subject, just normal friendly party talk.
Next day, (one neighbor has a business, and sometimes I stop in at noon, for cookies) His wife said: “Ya know last night, I heard you talk about killing Coons, you know that was a Black man you were talking to” I said: ‘Ya So”
The POINT. Saying, ‘Coon’, in front of a black color skin person, in describing a Raccoon’. It not even remotely racest, not even close. So in that setting/context/attitude, their should not even be a thought about color of skin.
Exactly the same as “how do you want your coffee’.
And a WHOLE BUNCH of other things.
That is just as DFI as if one person, is considered a … person. And that person says they support another person. That Other person, is now considered a, … person.
