You told me a couple days ago Trump Jr lied and when we discussed it, the truth was he did not tell a reporter the reason for a confidential meeting.

He (nor any of us) are under any obligation, legal or otherwise, to disclose what the topic of any meeting is about. Not telling them or flat out telling them it was for something else is not actionable.

Not true - when dealing with a foreign national regarding opposition research, the rules are little different. jr took this meeting with the sole intent of getting dirt on hillary. jr was working for his father in this regard.

Go ahead and believe that they talked about adoption - I don't. That wasn't jr's intent. He can tell you anything. He could have said they talked about baseball...

In the case of trump - it's got a long way to go and there have been over 20 indictments. There's lots being found.

Of which exactly 2 have anything to do with Trump and its more than a little debatable they are valid charges.

True. However, this was only the first trial. trump's got people who pledged their loyalty to him, leaving in quick succession and cooperating with Mueller. There is a lot more to uncover I'm sure.

According to his Congressional testimony and emails he turned over, he took the meeting because he was told she had dirt on Hilary. When it was discovered she wanted to talk about the adoption bill, the meeting was essentially over.

As far as the other stuff, lacking facts, you're free to spin whatever story you want.

THANK YOU - this is what I've been saying! The intent of jr, acting on behalf of his father's campaign, was questionable from a legal standpoint. Working directly with a foreign national to get "dirt" on an opponent - not on the up and up.

This is what he said - I personally don't believe it. He can say whatever he wants. He wasn't under oath. But again, I'm not debating the conversation, I'm debating the intent.

No mark - when it was first discovered and reported, jr lied about what the meeting was about. The reports are easy to find.
