My guess is that this will hurt their pride so bad for many that they will either ignore commenting or go into denial completely. We're not much better here, where people have called for new technology in the energy sector for decades, but little is happening due to the oil reserves and the greed to get as much out of it as possible before it becomes obsolete. And by dragging our heels, they seem to think fossil fuel will remain competitive for longer, where in fact the most likely scenario is that other nations (ea China) will gain an advantage that will at best be very, very difficult to catch up to. More likely, we will see other nations taking over the role as leading the economy, technology and as a result set the agenda for how we live.
