Well, yeah, you're right - it is.

To think that trump has "done it all" is at the least misguided and at the worst delusional.

My previous post explains it all.

So.... what happened under Obama's watch was nothing?  You sure?  Because I saw a whole bunch of new jobs and growth for 75 months.  You might want to redefine your version of "nothing".

Also, what's the percentage of manufacturing jobs compared to ... oh, say 30 years ago?

You see jog, once again it's about CONTEXT.  This is in the same ilk as the "you didn't build that" quote.

Manufacturing jobs are NOT coming back to what they were historically.  That's a fact.  Whether that's good or bad remains to be seen.

But come back to reality and have a look.

The long-awaited pickup in U.S. wage growth may have finally arrived.

Average hourly earnings rose 2.9 percent in August from a year earlier, the sharpest jump since June 2009, the Labor Department said Friday.

The rise last month means worker pay is finally increasing at a noticeably higher pace than the 2.3 percent yearly inflation measure tracked by the Federal Reserve. And that gives households a little more breathing room in their monthly budgets.

Until now, pay increases have accelerated, but gradually. They’ve averaged about 2.7 percent  in 2018, up from 2.5 percent the prior two years.

Economists have expected yearly pay increases to hit 3 percent since unemployment dipped below 5 percent in 2016 as more employers began struggling to find workers.

Wages will go up. Especially as or if illegal immigration drops further. Employers have to attract workers and wages are the last thing they do.
The idea Americans won't do certain jobs is BS. Pay them enough and they'll do it. Democratic illegal immigration policy has always hurt the lowest rungs of the social economic ladder yet they line up behind Democratics and vote for them and all the while they are getting fitted for a noose around their necks.... That's the power of an activist media.

Can you reference that article?  I'd like to look into where they get those numbers.

Unscrewing decades of bad policy does not happen in a week. We are heading in a better direction than any of us are old enough to remember seeing. Well, maybe a couple, but not me and I'm 63.
No, TT, the Obama recovery was the weakest and slowest since the depression. QE was horrible. And we aren't finished with the hurt from it. Not all Obama's fault, it's been decades since anyone actually did smart things FOR America. You people oppose Trump out of ignorance of economies and because you hate the man.
Talk about voting against your own best interest..
