From The New York Times:

The headlines for the August job numbers released this morning are nothing but good. Employers added a robust 201,000 jobs, the unemployment rate remained at the rock-bottom level of 3.9 percent, and wages grew the fastest they have in nine years.

There’s no doubt that this is the best economy in quite a long time for American workers, who by a wide range of measures can find a job more easily than they have in a decade …

No one's (at least not me) is saying the economy's not doing good.  That's not what's in question.

What's in question is what trump has to do with it.

Which is mostly nothing.  He's giving autographs at signing ceremonies for the republican establishment.  Reading his twitter feed and listening to his off the prompter speaking, it's pretty obvious that he couldn't possibly understand the complexities of the US economy.

These tax cuts are great for the corporations.  Not the middle class. When you factor in inflation, the rise in wages is just OK.

I seem to remember a list of things trump would do.

Wreck the economy was one.

Instead,he supercharged it.
Pay attention
I'm tired of rubbing your nose in it.
Deregulation
The change in taxes did more than you're able to see.
Look at the repatriated money
Building new manufacturing facilities
Done with explaining
I'm TIRED of the unwillingness to see the obvious.

Patience.  I hope it doesn't happen, but this is trump we're talking about..

Instead,he supercharged it.

"He"? - Nope.  Right place, right time.

Pay attention

No, they didn't.  After you take inflation into consideration, the wage increase is on par with Obama.... sorry jog.

Look at the repatriated money

Hmmm... who did that help, you?  Me?  Um, nope.  1%ers

Building new manufacturing facilities
Done with explaining
I'm TIRED of the unwillingness to see the obvious.

Then please, don't feel the need to comment.  It's not my fault if you don't see trump the way everyone else does.

(gee, I guess trump's not the only one who's thin-skinned)

You are partially right, (for once).
Not everyone has the all out, total, complete,
HATRED, of Trump, like you do.

Most certainly their are things, and everybody expresses a view on their like or dislike on the way Trump does things.
But non of it close, (well maybe a clown from another country, who is a subject of a Monarchy) than what you say.

And OH, “…the way everyone else does….”
No, Not, "…everyone…”.

To be fair to Trump, we must for now relate to the facts, which is that economy has continued the positive trend that began under Obama. I do not think we, with our limited access to inside information, have the means to say whether the good times are a result of Trump's actions or if they are a result despite Trump's (negative) actions. So unless the economy starts to falter and the reasons behind it are blatantly obviously the fault of the policy of Trump, I think one should accept that it could be due to the current line of governing the economy.

That was too bloody many words to say that until proven a disaster, we should accept that the economy is good and that Trump have made a positive contribution.

Also worth mentioning is that the market to a great deal sort itself out, regardless of who is governing. By that I mean the decline under Bush was far from only the fault of that administration, just as the improvements under Obama and Trump are not solely caused by those administrations. The policy can strengthen or weaken the effects, good or bad, but the market itself - locally and globally - have great power in itself.

No, I can't reward trump for any of this.  His administration, perhaps.  but not him.

Even today he lied about the economy - and it wasn't necessary.  “The GDP Rate (4.2%) is higher than the Unemployment Rate (3.9%) for the first time in over 100 years!”
No you idiot - 10 years. (yet he still hasn't taken it down)

You see, he has no grasp of reality.  Even though that news is still fantastic (GDP adjusted to 4.2% in the first quarter and higher than unemployment), he's too lazy to find out what's true and what's not.

He lacks the basic intelligence/intuition to know what is right and what's not.  He lies nearly all the time.  Why?  No one knows.

Yes, the economy is doing great - I'll be the first to say I'm surprised.  But it's completely in spite of this man, not because of him.  Things like the tweet above are just reinforcement of that fact.

Investors say you're wrong.
The stock market responded positively when he was elected. Because businessmen listened to him and trusted what he was saying. WINNING

When someone believes in Comic Book Characters,
It a good chance they believe  ‘polls’, which ask leading questions.

Saw the news last night, saw the map, where a bunch of lines were coming to shore. (all taking a different path)
(Hurricane Florence)
The reporter asked, why so many, ‘forecasts’,
the Weatherman said:
‘Because of 20 different agencies are interpreting the SAME information’.

And that, (Hurricane), is the SAME, information.
Polls are Not even, remotely close, to the, 'same'.

Never said he didn't.  But we all make mistakes...

Business owners are investing in growth.
The repatriated billions are being used to build manufacturing.

HA!  You mean stock buybacks.  Where's the new Ford factory?  What happened with Carrier?

Yeah, trump is the fool..

No, the fools are those that follow and protect him.  He can't find a coherent sentence off prompter with both hands and a flashlight.

He is only signing autographs for the republican establishment.

His approval numbers show it.  The approval numbers on the tax cut show it.  His twitter feed shows it.  His allowing of massive deficit spending shows it.  His constant golf habit shows it.  His constant and voluminus lying shows it.

You're being played jog - thought you were smarter than that, but like I said, we all make mistakes.

Polls are polls mn.  They don't care that you don't believe them. (oh, but you probably do when they support your positions though).

Saw the news last night, saw the map, where a bunch of lines were coming to shore. (all taking a different path)

Polls are like the weather?  Hmm.. that's just silly mn.

And that, (Hurricane), is the SAME, information.
Polls are Not even, remotely close, to the, 'same'.

Um, sorry, they are.  They all show that trump is very unpopular.

I know that must hurt.

Bless your heart.
