This was a huge part of trump's "great businessman" strategy, wasn't it?

Maybe it's still too early to tell, but something seems a bit off...

New data out Wednesday showed the U.S. trade deficit in July widening at its fastest rate since 2015 as monthly deficits with China and the European Union both hit new records . In the year so far, the U.S.’s overall goods and services deficit is up by $22 billion, or 7 percent, versus the same period last year.-Bloomberg

Me? No. Again, I live in the real world jog. I saw what happened from 2001 to 2016. I saw the change. It was good and it began under Obama.

I've explained it several times.

No jog, in fact, it's more simple than even you think.

The only thing trump has done is not muck it up.. yet. He inherited a strong economy on the rebound.

He didn't bring any jobs back, the administration (you know, the establishment republicans) crafted a tax cut that he signed, which has kept the momentum up. Yes, it's been a boon to the corporations, and on its surface looks great. But to think that trump had much of anything to do with it is folly. Sorry jog, he's just not that smart.

Job growth has been picking up steam since 2009 (something like 75 straight months of growth under Obama).

Don't get me wrong, I love that the economy is continuing on the same path (my 401K and investments are strong), but I'm realistic enought to know that its not because of trump, it's in spite of trump.
