I watched quite a bit of the hearings.

I thought he'd been coached hard not to say anything that would give the Democratic jackals something to get their stinking, rotten teeth into and to also avoid any confrontation with the pouting children up there.

The line of questioning you cite is a perfect example. I read that law firm has 350 lawyers in 9 US cities. Kavanagh correctly smelled a trap she was setting for him, but he certainly could have responded better.

He's not hiding anything because the next Republican questioner asked him the question in a manner any of us would have asked someone if we'd genuinely wanted to know. He was asked if he'd ever spoken to anyone about the Muller investigation regarding any inside information or any type of quid quo pro once on the court. Anyone at all? The answer was no.

What Harris was insinuating (which is another way of saying lying) was that she has some inside information from someone at that law firm. It was a lie, a cheap trick.

A cheaper trick was the BS by the future loosing Democratic Presidential Candidate, Booker. What a bunch of BS. Even his own team called him out just a little bit.

Leahy looked like the corpse at Weekend at Bernie. Basically incoherent.

If Booker and Harris are the future of the Democratic Party, Trump might try for three terms.....

LOL - well, for one insinuate means to suggest or hint (something bad or reprehensible) in an indirect and unpleasant way. Not lie.

I think they have a place and it's good to see some backbone from the dems - it's about time. I think the likes of Ocasio-Cortez are more in line with the future of the democratic party, but we'll see.

Be on the lookout for these and many more like them. They're polling high and are learning that taking a true progressive stance is actually a good thing.

He did tell the truth. If I recall his answer, he didn't recognize the name of the firm. How would he know if he spoke to anyone.

If you were under oath TT and I asked you did you speak to anyone about the Muller investigation at a law firm whose name you didn't recognize, how would you answer?
