For the Democrats, Obama was a complete failure. They lost the house and senate. His candidate to replace him, Hilary, lost to a reality tv star as you guys like to say.

Part of the speech i just saw would be valid if he'd been on another planet for 8 years but he wasn't. He was in the middle of it and lead the charge towards more divisiveness. He's once again relying on the media's protection by them not reminding everyone his role. They won't.

Despite the losses, Obama remains a charismatic, influential speaker and representative of the democrats.

He is classy, articulate, funny, intelligent, well read, experienced and kind.

Pretty much the anti-trump.

That's the reason he's still relevant.

Don't forget humble. After all, only referred to himself 102 times in an hour or so.

LOL, yeah, true.  He knows he's that good. That's what makes trump almost funny by comparison.  He doesn't know how dumb he is.

If he was all that stuff, then why on earth did he lose HIS MAJORITY?  Undecided

It wasn't all on him.  At the local level, the establishment dems deserved to lose.  They ran weak campaigns and were just weak in general.  Oh, and let's not forget the money that was spent - something like 80% of all the republican wins came as a result of outspending the dem challengers or incumbent.

And again, this midterm was, is, suppose to be a slam dunk.

This one coming up?  Not sure if it's a slam dunk, but I can tell you this much - if there's a trump endorsement, it might hurt more than help the repub.  He's polling so low that he's becoming tainted.

Yeah, too funny, dialogue no, regurgitation and talking points.

Pay attention ray - the true progressives are creeping in from the fringes and making a difference.  November will be interesting.
