This is the most anticipated mid term election since, well since ever.

I know y'all are very invested in this so let's make this a thread about the results and your reaction to it. What it means for you, or doesn't mean. Whatever but let's see if we can manage to keep it On Topic

I for one am very mindful of the crazy results of the 2016 election which sort of makes the democrats taking the house predictions a little worrisome. However I do believe that they will take the house.

It is widely agreed by everyone that the Dems cannot take the Senate due to the number of seats they are defending. However we may get a result there as crazy as the 2016 predictions. I hope not because crazy pants Trump might start a war somewhere to relieve his tension.( ◠‿◠ )

I don't know how this is possible but the usually very staid BBC have announced that the Democrats have retaken the House that they lost in 2010, even though no one is America is saying that yet. And women candidates have made big inroad. I guess a woman's place is in the house, just like the misogynist GOP say. Go figger.

Trumps announces tremendous success. Let's see they kept the Senate as was expected, but the House has been well lost. Trump's agenda will be stalled and worse than that (for him) the Democrats can now initiate some long overdue investigations into his enriching himself with his corrupt dealings.
