Cohen made his case for leniency in front of a federal judge in Manhattan, accusing Trump of causing him to err.

"It was my own weakness and a blind loyalty to this man that led me to choose a path of darkness over light," he said.

"I have been living in a personal and mental incarceration ever since the day that I accepted the offer to work for a real estate mogul whose business acumen that I deeply admired," he said.

Speaking directly of Trump, Cohen said, "There is little to admire."

Cohen got played by a prosecutor who threatened him and he pleaded guilty too quickly. Happens all the time to low level crooks but shouldn't to someone in Cohen's position. Face it, Trump's not very good at picking people. His instincts on issues and policy for the most part is spot on, but I think what happens is someone will say a single insightful comment and Trump thinks that person is a genius when in fact, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then.

And of course Congress pays hush money all the time. Despite what some idiots think on here, hush money is not illegal. And Trump being the public figure he was/is, would not fall under the FEC guidelines for campaign violations by entering into a NDA with those two women.

Could the Democrats impeach him over it? Sure, they could. Indict? No.

He has zero leadership skills. His "empire" came from daddy. He couldn;t craft a bill if his life depended on it. He has never served the public. He knows nothing of the Constitution. He relies on people like you who are gullible enough to look past who he really is and believe he's someone else.
