Yes and No.

The Landlord, (if he is the owner of the property) has the ‘right’ to say, yes/no to having a firearm on the grounds.
Yet their seems like a WHOLE Lot, is in her favor.

Did she sign a lease ?
Did the lease say no firearms on grounds ?
If yes to both. Than she cannot have firearms on the grounds.
She, can, own, have, posses, use, firearms, just not on those grounds.
(If the lease said she cannot own firearms, that part would, NOT, be valid)

If she signed a Lease, and it said nothing about firearms.
Yet now, she is told she can not have any on the grounds.
Is like her signing a lease saying $100.00 a week rent, for 24 weeks.
Then being told, rent is 200.00 a week rent, for next 48 weeks.
It just don't work that way.
She gets a good Lawyer, She will own that place.

More problems come when:

They DID, violate her privacy, absolutely. But her Rights?  Don’t know what was in the lease she signed ?

Looking at numerous places, (Web Sites) about this story.
It is noticeably absent from the, ‘Left’, ‘very Left’, leaning sites.
That is one clue.

Next, is the, ‘Landlord’, the owner of the property ?
Their is NO  answer.
Next, was their a lease signed, and what did it say?
Their is no answer.   (From the CNN type sites)
Those are more clues.

This lady, (when she gets a good Lawyer),
will be collecting, not paying, the rent.
